With the theme “Ang Pamilyang Sama-sama, sa Wikang
Filipino Nagkakaisa”, the Claireans celebrated the 2015 family day and
Buwan ng Wika on August 29, 2015 at the SCS Multi-Purpose Gym.
Besides the usual in-house
academic competitions such as poster
making, essay writing, and slogan making, the committee added spice to the
month-long celebration with song interpretation, poem writing, speech choir,
and cultural dance contest. For Grades 4 to 10 students, this year’s family day
was extra special since they got to bond with their schoolmates through the
different team building games.
At the end of the day, the
students belong to the Grade 2, 6 – Charity, and 7 – Wisdom classes were
declared winners. The Family Day and Buwan ng Wika Celebrations were led by the
combined efforts of MAPEH and Filipino Departments.
